摘要

The study of saturation in composite materials made by resin injection allows to evaluate the quality of the final. For high saturation ratios and homogeneous matrix repartition, the part usually meets the theoritical characteristics. Despite its importance, the prediction of saturation still requires analyze. Many studies deal with the problematic within the composites manufacturing research. By understanding saturation, the optimisation of composite manufacturing becomes possible to reduce the void content in the parts. By integrating the prediction of saturation in mold filling simulations, the time required to select appropriate injection parameters can be reduced. Several models describing the formation of voids have begin to appear, but there is a great need of validation. This work deals with saturation in a braod way. The validation of a numerical optimisation module has been carried out. This study has been extended to an aeronautical part. The next step was the general mold filling optimisation of an automotive part made by flexible injection. Finally an experimental set-up intended to track the evolution of the saturation in real time using light transmission is depicted. Eventually, these experiments will allow validating the analytical model of saturation currently developed and described at the end of this thesis.
