Disparities and systematic racism policies and practices related to healthcare reform, employment, and incarcerations: A multi-faceted analysis of contemporary experiences in the United States.

This Comprehensive Multi-faceted dissertation examined the contemporary disparities and discriminatory practices using a three-study investigative approach related to healthcare reform, incarcerations and employment. Each of the specific studies in this investigation examined the disparities in each subject area guided by the following research questions: 1. Does systematic racism exist in the United states and are there policies and practices that promote disparities. 2. What are the statistical indicators that confirm systematic racism and disparity. 3. What are the long term effects of discriminatory policies and practices in the United States related to African Americans and other minorities. The findings of the three different studies were analyzed and synthesized into a comparative summary about the current state of discriminatory polices and practices.
