A study on the effects of Great Awakening Ministry on quantitative church growth: A case study of thesin rae won Evangelical Holiness Church.

The purpose of this study is to suggest an effective model which revives the passion of evangelism in the church and has an effect on the maturity of church members and quantitative growth of the church.; Evangelism is to discipline people through preaching and teaching the gospel. God is calling His people in all nations. Jesus Christ gave His disciples the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), the disciples did their best to evangelize people according to the Great Commission, and the church grew more and more.; McGavran and Wagner insist that we should reach receptive people as targets of evangelism for effective church growth through evangelism. In this theoretical basis, sin rae won Evangelical Holiness Church has done a Great Awakening Ministry. This ministry focuses on relational evangelism.; The ministry has six steps: preparation, decision, access, contact, invitation, and celebration. Through the Great Awakening Ministry, 369 non-believers came to church, 139 were invited to the New Life Celebration, which is one of the programs in the Great Awakening Ministry, and 87 became believers. These results show that the Great Awakening Ministry has had an effect on the spiritual maturity of church members and qualitative growth of the church, and that the ministry is adaptable for growth of sin rae won Church.; The church should grow. Church growth is the will of God. For church growth, the church should evangelize the unchurches. In the 21st century, relational evangelism is more effective than personal evangelism.; In conclusion, the Great Awakening Ministry of evangelizing relational people is an effective program of evangelism for maturity of church members and quantitative growth of the church. As a result, I hope that the Korean church will evangelize non-believers and train believers through the Great Awakening Ministry.
