Risk management approach in engineering and project management to better assess and avoid risks in the final product.

摘要

The purpose of this research is to study and facilitate the development of new approaches to Risk Management (RSKM) within the engineering-cycle of a product's development. Poor RSKM during the development phase of a product can lead to more problems being found later in the life-cycle, which are then more difficult to resolve. These risks can be costly and time consuming. Good RSKM habits can mitigate these issues to prevent the risks before they turn into a problem.
