系统功能语言学视角下体育新闻语篇的人际意义研究——以《中国日报》和《纽约时报》伦敦奥运会报道为例

摘要

随着人与人之间的交流联系日益密切，媒体工具的发展日益兴旺，各大新闻报纸对于各类事件的报道也越来越频繁，体育新闻的报道也是如此。如今，体育新闻也逐渐成为人们的关注焦点之一。通过各种体育新闻报道，人们能够了解体育赛事的实况。体育新闻也成为除政治新闻以及经济新闻以外备注公众关注的重点内容之一。但是，体育新闻报道却没有引起语言学研究的重视，以往对于体育类新闻的研究也多集中在传统文体学角度。本文以韩礼德系统功能语法理论以及马丁的评价理论为研究理论背景，从影响广泛的两份报纸《中国日报》和《纽约时报》中选取30篇关于2012年伦敦奥运会的报道，统计得出数据进行分析研究。
　　本文的研究问题是:(1)在选取的两份报纸的语料中，各种人际意义体现手段的分布状态的特征是什么？(2)在所有实现手段中，哪些手段是新闻记者最常使用最重要的？(3)两份报纸在人际意义的各种实现手段的分布方面有哪些异同点以及这些异同点能够说明怎样的具体内涵？
　　本文采用定性研究和定量研究结合的方法。作者将系统功能语法理论和评价理论应用到体育新闻语篇中，研究各种人际意义体现方法的具体运用频率。经过详细系统的语料分析，作者得出结论:(1)《中国日报》和《纽约时报》两份报纸在人际意义的实现手段方面差异性很小，具有很大的相似之处。在两份报纸的数据中，共有三种主要实现手段:语气、情态、评价。首先，语气手段中，陈述句在两种语料中占据最大比例，其次是疑问句和祈使句。其次，情态手段两个方面:情态和意态的分布情况有相似的特征，即在两份选择的报纸中情态比意态运用得更加频繁一些。至于评价手段，只有态度和介入两种在所选语料中比较明显，两份报纸中态度资源的运用要略少于介入资源的运用。(2)两种报纸的人际实现手段主要都集中在以下几个方面:语气系统中的陈述语气，情态系统中的情态和意态，评价系统的态度和借言评价资源的运用。(3)作者选取的两份报纸在人际意义实现手段的分布方面基本相同。唯一的区别是《中国日报》在态度系统下体现出的人际意义的比例要略多于《纽约时报》中的态度人际意义。这说明不管国内还是国外的英语报纸都在人际意义实现上有很多相似的特征。在本文中提及的理论都适合分析这些数据。
