金庸武侠小说里武术术语汉英译名混乱现象研究与对策

摘要

全球化背景下，中国武术像中国其他文化一样被传播到世界各地。武术文化的传递是借助于武术术语的翻译开始的。然而，武术术语的翻译过程中存在着一些翻译问题，这些翻译问题将会阻碍跨文化交流的进行。在关联理论的指导下，研究分析了金庸武侠小说里武术术语的汉英译名。本文研究发现存在三类武术术语译名翻译混乱问题:同一译名的多元化翻译、文化意象的误译以及对于直译的过度依赖。本文探讨了引发这三类类译名翻译问题的主要原因:第一，对于同一武术术语缺少标准化统一化的译名;第二，不同国家间的不同语言文化导致了文化意象的误译;第三，翻译方法的误用导致了对于直译的过度依赖。针对以上三类翻译问题，本文提出了针对武术术语汉英译名翻译问题的解决对策:第一，将同一武术种类的译名归类统一;第二，针对不同的文化意象采取不同的翻译方法（对于民俗传说典故中的意象采取删除该意象并且解释该武术动作的翻译方法;对于动物意象采取保留意象并且解释该武术动作的翻译方法）;第三，对于过度依赖于直译导致的翻译问题，采取综合性翻译的方法。在关联理论的指导下，本文致力于克服汉英武术术语译名中出现的翻译问题，并且提出了三个解决武术术语译名翻译问题的翻译对策。
