任务型教学法在大学英语听力教学中的应用——以民办高校“西安欧亚学院”为例

摘要

在语言学习的四个环节中，听是语言的输入过程，是吸收、巩固语音，培养说、读、写等语言能力的一种重要手段。因此，在大学英语教学中，听说教学成为英语教学的一个重要组成部分。然而，目前的大学英语听力教学效果并不令人满意。因此，笔者试图把任务型教学法应用于听力教学中，摸索出一条任务型大学英语听力教学的有效途径，从而提高学生的听力成绩、改善学生的听力学习态度。
　　笔者就职的学校是一所民办高校，本研究结合了民办高校非英语专业学生英语听力学习的现状，以建构主义理论和二语习得理论为理论依据，在实验班实施任务型教学法。通过为期一学期的教学实验，作者获得了一系列的真实数据，并对这些数据进行了科学、系统的比对、分析，证实了任务型教学法适合用于民办高校非英语专业学生提高英语听力水平。
　　作者在实验前提出了两点假设:(1)在提高学生的听力水平方面，任务型教学法更有效;(2)在激发学生听力学习热情方面，任务型教学法更有效。为检验任务型教学法在大学英语听力教学中的可行性和有效性，笔者采用了文献分析法、问卷调查法、测试法及实验法。
　　笔者随机把自己所带班级分为实验班和控制班，对两个班进行了为期一学期的对比教学实验，即在实验班实施任务型教学法，而在控制班依然进行常规教学。通过教学实验前的前测及前期问卷调查、对比教学实验以及教学实验后的后测及后期问卷调查等一系列的实验活动后，再对得来的各项数据进行统计分析。作者发现，通过实施任务型教学法以及一系列多层级的以任务为基础的教学活动，实验班的学生在学习听力的能力和兴趣方面都有了显著的改善，实验结果证实了实验前提出的两点假设。
　　在论文结尾部分，笔者总结了本研究的局限性并提出了几点教学启示，为以后的进一步研究提出了一些设想。
