On Translation of Government work Report from Perspective of Cognitive Linguistics Translation ModeL-Taking Government Report of the Third Session of the Eleventh National People's Congress as an Example

摘要

随着全球化的不断推进,中国与西方世界之间的交流日益增多。在此背景下,如何让西方更好的了解中国,尤其是了解中国的政治观点,已成为人们关注的一个重要课题。因此,对中国政治文本的翻译就显得尤为关键。政治用语翻译的优劣程度对中西方在政治上的沟通和交流有重要影响。本文试图从认知翻译观的视角,以第十一届全国人大三次会议政府报告的英译本为例,证明认知翻译观可以指导政治用语英译。从而丰富政治用语翻译研究的方法,促进中国与西方世界之间的交流。
　　 认知语言学从体验认知的角度来解释语言,认为语言来源于人类对客观世界的互动式体验和认知加工。认知翻译观创造性地将认知语言学的基本原理扩展到翻译理论和实践中,认为翻译具有体验性,多重互动性,创造性,语篇性,和谐性,“两个世界”性这六个特点。本文总结了当前学者对认知翻译观和政治用语的研究;反思了当前政治用语翻译研究的不足;分析了认知翻译观六个特点的具体内涵和它们相互之间的关系;把认知翻译观运用到具体的政治用语翻译实践中,探讨可操作性的政治用语英译原则和方法。发现翻译的“两个世界”为判定译文是否准确提供了判断标准;和谐翻译为译者在众多目标语中挑选最自然的对等文本提供了准绳;翻译创造性为译者自主的运用各种翻译技巧处理原语言提供了理论依据。
