网络多媒体背景下任务型教学法在大学英语教学中的应用研究

摘要

随着新一轮英语教学改革的推进，英语教学方法变得异乎重要。那么，究竟如何才能在新的学习背景和媒体下促进学生的综合技巧?究竟如何在新的教学理论下讲授课程?究竟如何才能训练学生的自主学习能力……所有这一系列问题都有待解决。面对新时期全球化所带来的机遇，特别是在计算机网络和多媒体环境背景下，我们真的需要去思考这样一个问题，那就是如何改革创新过去的以教师为中心的教学和学习模式。 任务型教学法是上世纪八十年代以来外语教学法研究者在大量研究和实践的基础上提出来的具有重要影响的教学理论。多年来，任务型教学法已在外语教学实践中产生了重大影响，语言学家和外语教学研究者都一致认为在课堂上采用任务型教学法极为必要，因为其核心是以学习者为中心，它通过师生共同完成语言教学任务，使学生自然地习得语言，提高实际能力。任务教学强调任务的自然性和真实性，需要应成为任务设计的原动力。当前信息技术飞速发展，特别是多媒体网络教学兴起，使学生能够在课堂上获得大量自然的语料成为可能。把任务教学法应用到多媒体教学中最大的优点就是给学生创造了一个既具竞争特色，又宽松自然的过程和学习环境。任务型教学法以任务为主线，把课堂教学和学生的课外活动紧密地结合起来，学生可以最大程度的利用资源，并且同学间、师生间的协作都会大大增加，这无疑给多媒体教学添加了人性化因素，进一步完善了多媒体网络教学模式。 本文探讨了怎样结合任务型教学法，在网络多媒体这样一个背景下，进行更加合理高效的大学英语教学，以促进学习者能够更加有效地进行英语学习。通过对中国石油大学(华东)青岛校区的本硕连读的大四学生进行问卷调查，然后通过对两个校区的大一新生的第一学期期中和期未的大学英语成绩进行比较分析，从而得出结论，在新的英语教学模式下的学生能够更好的进行自主学习，并把学习到的内容进行切实利用。 最后，论文结合中国的英语教学实际情况，提出了一些应用启示以及该研究的有待改进之处。
