从大学英语口试看交际语言测试对大学英语口语教学的指导作用

摘要

随着社会的发展，各国联系越来越频繁，英语也成为“地球村”的语言。而在我国，经济飞速发展与世界接轨的同时，英语仍然只是一门需要记忆的知识，没有成为一种用“口耳”进行交流的工具，口语的重要性没有得到应有的重视。因此，旨在研究可以提高大学生口语的口语课堂具有积极的意义。 测试与教学紧密相连，教学要以理论为指导，交际语言测试较好地体现了语言的交际性功能。经过二十多年的发展，Bachman的交际语言能力被认为是目前最全面理想的模式，并且被应用到许多教学和测试实践中。1999年大学英语口语考试（CET—SET）的开始实施使口语得到前所未有的重视，对大学生口语能力的提高起到了巨大的推动作用。 但是，我们也应该看到大学英语口试起步相对较晚，对于这一考试对教学的具体指导作用的研究相对较少。因此，对大学生英语口试进行一次分析就显得十分必要，以交际语言能力理论为基础研究该口语考试对口语教学产生的指导作用更具有现实意义，其创新性也在于此。 本文采用定性和定量研究方法，通过问卷调查和课堂观察的形式进行了实证研究。对200名来自山东经济学院的大学生进行了问卷调查，并选取该学校的两个班级的84名学生为对象进行班级授课，授课班级分为实验班和对照班，两个班级都是山东经济学院大学二年级的学生。 授课旨在以大学英语口试模式为手段，以交际语言测试为理论基础，围绕培养学生的英语口语应用能力进行课堂实验，尝试设计一堂能够提高学生口语水平的大学英语口语课堂。一方面，本文简要分析了交际语言能力和大学英语口语考试，指出这一考试是对交际语言能力测试理论的体现，并对其进行适当的改进以用于教学和实验；另一方面，本文依据大学英语口试的模式进行了课堂授课实验，在实验授课过程中遵循交际语言能力测试关于语言能力的框架，以交际能力的培养为重点，语言能力的输入为基础，同时考虑心理生理机制对学生表现的影响。实验过程分为五部分：问卷调查、前测、课堂授课实验、后测和结果分析。借助于计算机word excel等工具对问卷、前测和后测等得出的数据进行了分析。通过问卷调查得知学生对目前的大学英语口语课堂并不是十分满意，但是对自身大学英语口语水平的提高有热情有信心，这为实验的开展打下了基础；通过前测知得学生在实验授课前的口语水平，然后把授课实验完成后后测的数据与前测中的数据相比较，最后通过对比分析得出实验课堂完成后学生的口语水平有了较大提高，证明本文提出的课堂授课是行之有效的。 最后，本文仍存在很多不足之处，同时为将来进一步进行大学英语口语教学的研究提出了建议。
