生态翻译理论指导下《吉祥如意》（节选）翻译实践报告

摘要

本文是一篇汉英笔译实践报告，原文是中国本土作家郭文斌的短篇小说《吉祥如意》节选章节。原文作者运用了大量具有鲜明传统文化特征及地方特色的语言描写了当时中国西北地区农村人民的日常生活。作品中出现了大量极具传统文化特色的方言、修辞及习语，这要求译者在翻译过程中除了要将源语所要表达的内容准确地传达给读者之外，还要采取恰当的翻译策略重现原作的艺术效果。
　　在生态翻译理论的指导下，本文作者从选择性适应和适应性选择两个方面对该小说的翻译过程和译文进行解读，并分别从语言、文化和交际三个维度阐明译者在适应性选择阶段所采取的主要翻译策略及方法，重点对原文中具有鲜明地方特色的方言、习语、民谣及中国传统文化思想等的翻译进行分析，以及如何在生态翻译理论的指导下忠实地呈现小说的内容、风格和艺术价值，并证明了生态翻译理论中的选择性适应和适应性选择这两个阶段对译者翻译过程的重要影响和理论指导作用，同时也为证实生态翻译学在中国文学作品的翻译中的适用性提供了例证。
