摘要

学困生是中学英语教学中普遍存在的问题,也是英语教师十分头疼的问题,许多教育家和学者从不同角度对学习困难进行了研究,并获得了不少重要成果,提出了许多转化学困生的具体方法,但通过培养自主学习能力转化英语学困生的相关研究并不多见,于是本文选择培养英语学困生的白_主学习能力作为选题进行研究。 论文作者首先回顾了国内外关于自主学习的研究现状,讨论了在我国目前的教育环境下培养英语学困生的自主学习能力的必要性。作者对所就职的四十四中学生进行了有关英语学习自主性现状的问卷调查,进行了数据统计与分析,调查结果显示英语学困生的自主学习能力普遍较差,其自主学习能力与学习成绩呈正相关。以社会建构理论为基础提出了培养英语学困生自主学习能力的学习策略和教学模式。通过学习自主性调查和英语成绩测试,实验结果表明,作者提出的教学策略和课堂教学模式能够在一定程度上促进学生的英语自主学习能力的发展,并且能改善大部分英语学困生的学习成绩。但是,英语学困生问题是教育中的一个大问题,许多相关的问题仍值得进一步研究和探讨。
