批评性话语分析视角下电影对话字幕翻译研究——以《满城尽带黄金甲》为例

摘要

本研究以批评性话语分析为理论框架，以张艺谋的电影《满城尽带黄金甲》中的对话字幕及其英译为语料，建立原文及译文对照的双语平行数据库，对比分析其中的对话字幕及其英译，旨在揭示该电影及其英译对话中的语言、权力和意识形态的关系，期望通过探讨电影对话字幕英译的相关策略，给类似的翻译实践提供一些启迪作用。
　　作者认为电影字幕翻译作为一种跨文化交际，不可避免地打上了意识形态的烙印，而批评性话语分析理论在电影字幕翻译中可起到很好的指导作用。
　　首先，由于该理论以韩礼德的系统功能语法为基础，因此本研究首先从系统功能语法的及物性和情态功能出发，对《满》中的对话字幕翻译进行分析研究；其次，互文性在批评性分析理论中也占有重要的地位，所以本研究就从转述和引用两方面着手对其字幕翻译进行剖析；最后，作者还从衔接手段和连贯层面对该电影对话字幕翻译进行了批评性话语分析。
　　本研究还分析了权力和意识形态对电影对话字幕英译策略选择的影响。通过大量实例分析揭示批评性话语分析理论是如何操纵电影对话字幕英译策略的选择。本研究中主要分析的电影对话字幕英译方法包括减译、增译、顺应和归化。
　　通过透彻的分析研究，作者发现意识形态渗透在《满》电影字幕翻译的整个过程，并干涉英译策略的选择。作者认为意识形态是电影对话字幕翻译中不容忽视的重要因素，字幕翻译者对翻译策略的选择及实现有效的跨文化传播肩负着十分重要的使命。
