三本院校大学生英语学习动机及英语学习策略对英语学习效果相关性的研究——一项基于北京交通大学海滨学院非英语专业大学生的实证性研究

摘要

随着中国经济的发展和与国际社会联系日益紧密，中国人对于英语的重视也与日俱增，对于英语学习的狂热程度愈发高涨.并且，近年来伴随着高校扩招的趋势，三本院校的生源也在逐年递增。所以三本院校学生基础参差不齐，缺乏学习热情，学习态度不够端正的问题也逐渐凸显出来。那么，如果对这些问题不能够对症下药的话，最后导致的结果只能是学习成绩的滑坡，毕业后学生无法达到社会要求。基于此，许多学者开始热衷于研究学习者的学习动机和学习策略，希望能够找到更有效的措施来促进英语学习者的学习，迄今为止，国内外已展开许多有关学习动机和学习策略的研究，无论是在理论还是实证研究方面都取得了一定的成就.然而，对于三本院校大学生英语学习策略和英语学习动机与英语学习成绩相关性的研究仍存在较大空白。因此，在相关研究的基础上，本文对于三本院校大学生英语学习动机与英语学习策略的现状进行了问卷调查，探讨了英语学习动机与英语学习成绩的关系，英语学习策略与英语学习成绩的关系，以及英语学习动机与英语学习策略的深层次相关关系，通过对以上几个方面的研究探讨，以期进一步促进英语教学和学习。
　　本文由五部分构成。在第一章首先指出了本研究的目的和意义.在第二章中，本文就英语学习动机和英语学习策略的定义，类型和其他相关重要理论方面做出了文献回顾.在第三章中说明了研究方法.通过对北京交通大学海滨学院非英语专业大一以及大二学生进行问卷调查，以及对所抽调的学生进行英语测试及成绩分析，将得到的相关数据收集并使用SPSS17.0进行处理分析。在第四章中本文对数据进行了细致地分析和讨论，有以下几个发现:学生的英语学习动机和英语学习策略与他们的英语学习成绩密切相关;学生的英语学习动机和策略会受到很多因素的影响，如性别，年级，专业，地区，省份等;英语学习动机和英语学习策略之间也存在显著相关.在最后一章中，也就是第五章，我们提到了本文中研究的结论，影响，和由于条件所限研究中存在的一些局限，以及基于本文对于教学的一些想法和建议.
　　总之，了解了学生的英语学习动机及学习策略对英语学习的影响，以及学生的英语学习动机和策略之间的相关性，有利于我们根据三本院校学生的特点有针对性的改进教学方法，从而改善教学效果，提高学生的英语学习成绩.
