摘要

Tulargen deposit is one of the magmatic sulfide Cu-Ni deposits along with Kangguer-Huangshan ductile shear belt(fig.1). The geological, petrology and geochemical characteristics of the deposit has been described in detail (Sun et al., 2006, 2008; San et al., 2007). Tulargen deposit is at the eastern section of Kangguer-Huangshanductile shear belt, along with which there are some other similar deposits, such as Xiangshan, Huangshan, Huangshan-East, Hulu, Mati, et al.This tectonic zone mainly controls the genesis of numerous mafic-ultramafic intrusions in Eastern-Tianshan mountain (Qin et al., 2003). Tulargen deposit is composed of three mafic-ultramafic intrusions, and the No.1 is the main ore-bearing intrusion. No.1 intrusion is a dyke-like half-buried intrusion of 1350m's long, dips at nearly 70°southwest, and is mainly composed of olivine-rich lithofacies which show evident olivine accumulation texture. In such a small sized body, it contains nearly 120000 tons Ni, and nearly 80000 tons Cu, and 10000 tons Co and minor PGE as by products. So Tulargen deposit is economically and academically important in China.
