IT Application in Building and Maintaining Inter-organizational Trust and Common Sense: A Case Study of Co-Win Advantage and Shared Interests

摘要

Through tracking many cases about Informationization failures, this research finds that the main problem in informationization construction is that there exist misunderstandings between the principal, the commercial companies, and the trustee.. Therefore, the authors propose that the informationization process is an inter-organizational interactive relationship and the application of IT technology relies on inter-organizational trust and common sense. In the paper, the authors carry out a case study and stress that IT technology is an important static resource during the informationization process and can only be best applied through building and maintaining inter-organizational trust and common sense based on interaction and developing them into a sustained competitive capability.
