摘要

This research wants to give an idea about the experiences carried on by the Project and Building Construction Department of the University of Palermo with the collaboration of some students attending the forth year course to get the Architecture Degree. These experiences concern the study of new solutions in order to realize temporary housing units with particular care for those aspects, not yet solved, of temporary planning such as the use of low environmental impact materials that are recyclable and biodegradable. Another analysed aspect regards the adoption of technologies based on renewable energies fitting to new environmental and technological environmental needs. We particularly stressed the problem of environmental compatibility related to the anthropic intervention through a project bioclimatic approach. In this context we preferred economically fitting solutions both under the costs point of view and under the management, maintenance, reuse ones. That’s why we used appropriate and available materials and techniques in order to guarantee a living quality inside the built space, to rationalize natural resources usage (with particular care for those of them not renewable) and to let the product be fit to the continuous changeable needs typical of the contemporary society.
