Neural network-based beamformer

摘要

A simple and robust spatial filtration algorithm working in the frequency domain is described. This algorithm uses neural network trained to decide whether a spectral component comes from forward or lateral/backward directions. Some details explaining how the neural network is acquiring knowledge about the signal directivity are presented. A discussion of the algorithm efficiency and limitations is also included.
