The Use of Lauroyl ED3A Chelating Surfactants with Detergent Enzymes

N-acyl ED3A chelating surfactants are mild, biodegradable, anionic surfactants which also act as powerful chelants for transition metal ions and as very effective hydrotropes in alkaline systems. The products show excellent potential in personal-care and industrial applications because of their extreme mildness and ability to enhance the stability of lather in hard water. Because they are compatible with enzymes and can act as builders and hydrotropes, they are also suitable for use in hard-surface and laundry applications.
