The Philosophical Foundations of Chinese Management: Sage Kings of High Antiquity, Lao Tzu, and Confucius

摘要

This paper explores the philosophical foundations of Chinese management as practiced in China, and by the Overseas Chinese. The paper proposes that a number of influential philosophical frameworks have shaped the unique practice of management by the Chinese people. In particular, Confucius, Lao Tzu, and the Sage Kings are most significant in shaping the managerial paradigm.
