CO2 Injection in Croatia: Revised Expectations for Ivani? and ?utica Oil Fields

First predictions of incremental oil recovery by CO2 injectionrnat Ivani? oil field in Croatia (dating from year 2003) werernbased on laboratory data and a 3D simulation model matchedrnagainst waterflooding history only. Since then, a field pilotrnCO2 injection was performed at Ivani? and the field data werernused for corrections and modifications to the simulationrnparameters. A revised model of Ivani? field was used torngenerate more conservative recovery predictions. The samernapproach was then utilised for the pattern simulation model ofrnthe nearby ?utica oil field, a part of the same EOR project.
