GAS TURBΓNE AND GENERATOR VIBRATION CASE STUDY

摘要

This case study describes corrective actions performed on a large gas turbine generator machine train with high vibration amplitude levels. Higher than desired vibration amplitude levels developed over several years at various locations along the machine train with balancing/inspections/and additional corrective actions required to return the machine train to acceptable and reliable operational levels. This paper and presentation will describe the vibration analysis, inspections, and corrective actions performed to improve the vibration levels in the unit.
