Over the past decades one of the most persistent issues in the production of polyurethanernrigid foam sandwich panels for the construction industry using the double conveyor beltrntechnology is the formation of voids or blisters. A detailed study of various factors involved inrnvoid formation in this application has been done and will be addressed in this paper. Werndemonstrate that an open cooperation between the suppliers (polyurethane system house,rncoil coating manufacturer, back coat supplier and foam manufacturer) involved canrnsignificantly improve the product quality.
