TIME LAPSE SEISMIC FOR RESERVOIR CHARACTERIZATION

摘要

Time Lapse seismic is now becoming a commonly used tool for optimised hydrocarbon field management. This paper demonstrates with the help of two case studies, Girassol oil field Block 17 offshore Angola and Oseberg Field, North Sea, Norway that how 4D technology can help in assessing the effect of reservoir production from seismic data. The backbbne of this technology involves the specialized 4D processing, because even in highly unfavourable conditions of different data vintages, a useful 4D signal can still be extracted.
