摘要

Here we study a class of aperiodic deterministic arrays of TiO_2 nanoparticles that are generated from the distribution of prime numbers in complex quadratic fields and from quaternion primes. We experimentally study their scattering resonances by using multi-spectral dark-field spectroscopy and discuss their nature within a fully vectorial Green's matrix method that includes both the electric and magnetic dipole contributions. Our results unveil clear signatures of critical resonance formation paving the way for more efficient active and passive photonic platforms based on aperiodic structural correlations.
