A New Bound on the Aperiodic Autocorrelation Function for a Maximal Length Sequence

A new form of the magnitude of the aperiodic or partial-period autocorrelation function for a m-sequence is presented. This approach reduces the previously best known upper bound by a factor of ln 2.
