This paper describes a coupled model between thernreservoir simulator TOUGH2 and wellbore simulatorrnHOLA. The goal is to provide increased capability inrnTOUGH2 to better model flow in geothermal systemsrncontaining inclined wells with multiple feedzones.rnThe model accounts for varying flowing bottomholernpressure and flow entering the wellbore fromrnmultiple feedzones at different depths, with the fluidrnin different thermodynamic states.rnThis approach facilitates a more accurate simulationrnof behavior of the geothermal reservoir beingrnexploited. The standard TOUGH2 input data isrnextended to support the new capability. Some samplernproblems are solved using coupled simulator andrncompared with the results obtained from the currentrndeliverability model in TOUGH2.
