Fault-type geothermal fields are common in recentrnvolcanism areas. The recent model of the Dachnyrnsite, Mutnovsky geothermal field (Kamchatka,rnRussia) represented a single fault production zonernwith the heat exchange to ambient rocks expressed inrnterms of "confining beds TOUGH2 option"rn(Kiryukhin, Stanford Workshop 2004) was improvedrnby add of the 5-layer external grid connected to thernproduction zone. Model calibration against 2002-rn2004 exploitation data and modeling of the possiblernfuture scenarios to maintain sustainability of the 50rnMWe PP (Dachny) discussed.
