On the basis of literature data, the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional grouting bolt supporting technology were analyzed and summarized in this paper, and from the characteristics of bolt supporting and the interaction mechanism of surrounding rock and the grouting reinforcement theory, we design a new type of grouting anchor rod-the length grading type controlled grouting bolt.The bolt achieve a uniform slurry around the bolt body, and let the rock and slurry fully bonded to form a whole structure, which effectively solves the defect of insufficient grouting of traditional grouting bolt, and it completes closing rock and prevents the shedding of surrounding rock.At the same time, the bolt achieves the timely support which has good social-economic value and wide application prospect.
