摘要

The smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) code is used to calculate the effect of the detonation of HE and the resulting damage to adjacent material which caused by the air gap in the cracked HE. The calculated result of the characteristic distortion of the witness plates is according with the experiments. The volume of the trench in the witness plates with different width air gap is also according with experiments. It indicates that SPH method could describe the effect of the detonation and work on of HE caused by air gap well.
