By means of two-dimensional hydrodynamic finite element code DYNA2D, the corner turning in cast TNT with different thickness of confinement materials PMMA and steel is modeled. Comparison for cast TNT between calculated and experiment record is presented and the results fit well. In this paper, the phenomena in the corner turning has been obtained and discussed in detail.
