The physical and mathematical model of semi-spherical unrestricted gas cloud explosions is established on the analysis with gas dynamics, thermodynamics and combustion physics. The calculation equations of explosion pressure fields are derived by integrating the momentum conservative equations and mass conservative equation for the unrestricted cloud explosion process. A program is designed through combining the finite geometrical cell method and even-energy adding method and integration equations. The experiments of acetylene-air cloud explosions were carried out to examine the effectiveness of the computer program. The deviation between computational results and experimental ones is less than 20%.
