The hydro-fluctuation belt of reservoir takes as an important ecological ecotone, its characteristics play an important role in the process of energy and material exchange in the water and land ecological system has great economic, ecological, and social value. This paper takes the Yinzidu reservoir as the research object, uses determined ecological function zoning on the basis of water level change and ecological characteristics. The main conclusions are as follows: The water level variation range of the Yinzidu reservoir always keeps between dead water level (1052 m) and normal high water level (1086 m). Its hydro-fluctuation belt area is about 8.05 km~2. And the exposed time of this place is relatively concentrated. Mulberry growth has sufficient time available. The soil has higher utilization value, suitable for planting mulberry trees. According to features of elevation changes and slope, we divided the function areas. They are water conservation forests area, ecological agriculture area, riparian buffer area, ecological restoration area, water ecological protection area, and high bedrock area. This article also develops appropriate ways to use them. The available area of hydro-fluctuation belt in Yinzidu reservoir covers an area of 2.24 km provides data support for ecological restoration effect evaluation.
