The conceptual database for a knitting and weaving end usage is warped to a great extent in the absence of a foolproof correlation between the key yarn parameters and the downstream processing performances. This treatise is drawn on the experiences of supplying yarn with varying technical specifications to end users having a wide array of applications. The objectives of this disposition shall be realized if the end user is more discerning to the yarn specifications that hold the key to sustain lifelines of the industry and is subsequently prompted to select yarns judiciously for enhanced process capabilities so important to bringing in the competitiveness to stay put in hard times.
