摘要

In this report the extraction of zinc oxide from zinc containing metallurgical residues has been studied. The zinc content of the residues is mainly in the form of zinc carbonate. The extraction takes place in a fluidized bed reactor using CO as reducing gas/fluidizing agent. It has been observed that increasing the temperature would increase the extent of the reaction.
