The Use of Polymeric Sizing aids to Proudce a 'Universal' Office Paper

The major benefit to a Papermaker that incorporates a Polymeric Sizing Aid into a sizepress application is an improved "Universal" office paper. The use of a Polymeric Sizing Aid in combination with starch results in paper that has both improved printability and runnability features. The improvements are obtained when the Polymeric Size and treated paper is printed by any of the three common office printing processes - xerography, ink jet, and offset.
