In the present study; the crack propagation behavior of cruciform IMI 834 specimens under different types of in-phase biaxial block loading histories was investigated. The test temperature was 350 deg C. The phenomenological crack propagation behavior and the orientation of the cracks in the biaxial tests are described. This study shows that the mean stress and the amplitude of the minor cycles in the blocks had a significant effect. Linear crack propagation predictiosn were performed and indications of crack closure influences and load sequence effects were observed.
