The Echo PIV technique provides an effective means of quantitativelyrnyet non-invasively characterizing the complex hemodynamics in the presence of Aortic Abdominal Aneurysms. The data that are gathered using this technique represent valuable information either for a deeper understanding of the fluid dynamics structures and as a benchmark for the validation of sophisticated numerical simulations.
