摘要

An equation was derived for the virtual mass coefficient of the anterior leaflet of the human heart's mitral valve. The derived solution was validated by comparison with the experimental data, where the opening angle of the leaflet was predicted. The virtual mass coefficient equation could be integrated into mitral valve computational models in order to take the blood's inertial effects into account.
