The stress-slip relationships between steel bar and steel chipreinforced cementitious composite (SCRCC) and steel chipreinforced polymer cementitious composite (SCRPCC) wereinvestigated by conducting the uniaxial tension tests. Crackingcharacteristics of SCRCC and SCRPCC were examined. Thefollowing conclusions were obtained from the results.(1) Maximum bond stresses before yielding of steel bars ofnon-reinforced NM and PCM were higher than that ofSCRCC and SCRPCC.(2) Average crack widths at failure of NM and PCMtended to decrease by reinforcing with steel chip.(3) No significant difference was observed between specimenssubjected to monotonic and cyclic loading methods.
