MAJOR PROBLEMS FOR WATER MANAGEMENT IN SUGAR FACTORY COGENERATION

Sugar Factory Cogeneration efficiency will depend upon Water Management working. Water Management working will depend on so many factors such as purity of chemical supplied, nature of chemical application and quantity of exhaust condensate available from process. It also depending on quality of raw water, skill of D. M. Plant operator if operated manually, selection of D. M. Plant, quality of resin, maintenance of D. M. Plant etc. for sugar factory major quantity water available is exhaust condensate from process. Its quality and quantity will depend on evaporator setjirst effect of working, designing of evaporator set and vapour bleeding arrangement. The make up water demand will depend on quantity of exhaust condensate available from process. How Water Management faced the major problems due to higher raw water components and availability of exhaust condensate are elaborated in the article.
