A Present Situation Analysis of Regional Balanced Development in China's Western Regions and the Choice of Strategy

With the Western region of China including 12 provinces for research object and the balanced level of the economy distribution and the level of Per Capita Annual Output Value for measures this article studies the balanced level of the economic development in the western regions from 2000 to 2004, and then analyzes the situation of Per Capita Annual Output Value in 2004 by comparing each province with Western Total. The purpose lies in that we can deeply understand the present situation of the imbalance and new direction in the economic development of western regions.
