It is possible to obtain and characterizeprotein/peptide-p(PAAc) conjugates that are able todisrupt membranes in a pH and concentration-dependentmanner, as evidenced by RBC hemolysis. Furthermore,conjugation of the antigens to p(PAAc) can significantlyincrease class I antigen presentation and cytotoxic T-cellactivation.
