摘要

Based on the analysis of more than one hundred concrete prisms confined with FRP, an analytical method for predicting the initial peak stress and strain values of FRP-confined concrete prisms is presented. The ultimate stress and strain of FRP-confmed concrete prisms can be calculated through modifying the corresponding ultimate stress and strain of equivalent cylinder concrete confined with equivalent FRP. Two models which can be applied under different conditions are suggested to predict the stress-strain relation of FRP-confmed concrete prisms.
