摘要

This paper proposed a new brake light cellular automata model within the fundamental diagram approach.Compared with previous brake light models,the following aspects are incorporated:(i) when the velocity of the following vehicle is large enough,the difference in decelerating performance under different driving conditions is considered; (ii) random decelerations will not influence the state of the brake light; (iii) the time gap is replaced by the effective time gap.Simulations show that the synchronized flow and the first order transitions can be reproduced.
