The available analog doble integrators used to measure displacements from accelerometer signals present so many problems, that they are useless in real life applications~((1)), whereas the main remaining problem in digital integration is the errors due to drift, mainly caused by the low frequency components. A new digital method, which uses a high-pass FIR filter to eliminate this problem, was developed and implemented~((2)) in a LabView environment. Measurements of 1 to 10Hz displacement signals have shown good results, except for a transient error that can occur during the first seconds of the measurements due to a phenomenon called time aliasing.
