Current needs for nondestructive testing (NDT) of tubes require global, economical, and in-working inspection capabilities. In this paper, use of a high-speed shutter camera with the digital shearography for dynamic test of tube defects is described. The experimental parameters for obtaining good fringe patterns are studied. Use of the system to detect two types of tube defects is reported. The results show that test of in-workign tubes is feasible by using current system.
