Industrial fan has been looked as a low-end product for a long time. Conventionally, users only care its basic function and low price. Recently, a high efficiency/low noise industrial fan is more popular than before for the requirement of high performance and low power cost. To shorten the development time and cost, different advance technologies (i. e., blade CAD, CFD, RP/RT) were applied and integrated to develop three types of industrial fans with high efficiency and low noise in this research. After real try-out test, comparing to other products on sell, the efficiency of the industrial fans can be increased 20% . Also, the noise can be decreased 10 dB. Consequently, the development time and cost can be saved up to 50% .
