The measurement of granular materials moisture content is a common requirement in many industrial process. For example, the moisture content of compound materials in sintering process greatly concerns sintering quality and fuel consumption. Because of the problem of measurement technique, the requirment has still not solved now. This paper gives the analysis of high frequency moisture content measurement and considers the essential phycical process of the moisture materials in high frequence electric field as RC centrialize parameter circuit. Based on the transformer-ratio-arm bridge technique and complex-impedance transducer, the experimentes and study of moisture content measurement have been made. The results from the test reveal some major characteristics of the method above. Especially the patterns of responsible relationship between the moisture content of granular materials and the output of the transformer-ratio-arm bridge have been obtained.
