The Consideration of Some Problems of Lightning Protection adn Earthing in Telecom Center

Many experiences for preventing the damages caused by nature had been achieved for human in the struggle with natural catastrophes. In order to reduce or avoid the human and installations damaged by lightning, a lot of lightning protection and earthing techniques had been invented. The IEC publication 61024-1 " Structure against direct lighting" and China state standard GB 50057 "Design specification of lightning protection in structure" are the main guidance for structure against direct lightning in China. Due to a number of precision equipment installed in telecom center, all telecommunication cables in the center contributed very complexly, to deal with the lightning protection, carrying out these standards which aimed to protect human and some basic installations only against lightning is not perfect enough, It couldn't provide sufficient protection to the telecommunication network equipment. So the new effective measurements to protect the telecommunication certers and equipment against lighting need to research quickly. Through some specifications aiming and telecom centers against lightning had been established, but a lot of damage problems are still exist. This contribution will provide some methods to solve these problems.
